Terrance Lewis commits to Iowa State
Steve Prohm and his Iowa State staff got a big boost to the start of their 2017 class with the commitment of 6-6 wing forward, Terrance Lewis, a top seventy-five prospect, from Milwaukee. WI Riverside High
He chose Iowa State on Tuesday over Marquette, Illinois and UNLV.
Lewis is an explosive scorer who has length, quickness, and skills to make an immediate impact for the Cyclones as a freshman. He will remind Clone fans of a bigger Dedric Willoughby. He can knock down the three to set up the dribble drive and finish with length over bigs or stop and pop pull-up jumper. He can post smaller wings on the blocks and score going left or right. His versatility is key to his ability to play right away in Ames. He can make plays on defensive end and has the ability to start the break off the glass. He will fit in right away in Iowa State’s run n gun style.
He is a big catch for the new Cyclone staff as they look to replace the talent lost with the graduation of Niang, Nader et al, off of last year’s squad.
