As we head into the final three weeks of the College Basketball season, it has become increasingly evident, that the one freshman you can count on every night to contribute on both ends of the floor is Duke’s Jabari Parker. He has shown his versatility by playing inside or outside for the top ten rated Blue Devils. He sacrifices his ability to score from the perimeter to board and defend in the post, then uses his superior Basketball I.Q. to find ways to help his teammates be successful within the Duke offense, especially with his ability to pass out of the post or off dribble on the wing. Parker is a throw back in many ways, as he flat out knows how to play the game, regardless of position. He has been maligned as not being athletic enough, but repeatedly he outplays so called superior athletes. No doubt, any team looking for some instant help on the wing will have to look hard at making Parker the No.1 pick! A number may have more hype or that elusive “POTENTIAL”, but Parker will help you get wins from day one, no matter who ends up with the No.1 Pick…if it was ours, we’d take the sure thing, Jabari Parker, over our old buddy…Po!
