Final Rankings - Class of 2017 Top 100 Seniors

After the All-Star games, it was apparent that 6’9 Michael Porter was, without a doubt, the No.1 player in the Class of 2017.  He dominated on the floor in both games he played in to solidify the top spot. Right behind him was multi-skilled power man 7’0 DeAndre Ayton who held off the challenge from 6’4 point Trevon Duval and 6’11 post Mohammed Bamba to hold on the No.2 ranking. Rounding out the top five was prolific scoring point Collin Sexton who made a huge push in March play to edge 6-10 Wendell Carter for a spot in the top five.

Carter headed up a trio of big men, that included 6’11 Mitchell Robinson and 6’11 Brandon McCoy at the numbers seven and eight spots nationally. Trae Young, the 6-2 point guard who ran with Porter for Mo-Kan Elite last summer grabbed the number nine spot. While early (yet red-shirting) Kentucky enrollee, 6-4 Hamidou Diallo edged Gary Trent and Kevin Knox for the number ten spot in our rankings.

This class goes 18-20 players deep, that could and should affect next falls early rankings and the performance of their respective college choices. It will be an interesting year for many of the nation’s top freshmen next fall, and so you have an inside look at who those players are going to be, here’s our look at the Top 100 Seniors in the Class of 2017 and others nationally who will make the 2017-18 college season interesting!

Note: We have heard that a number of players may re-classify to the Class of 2017, Emmanuel Akot and Jontay Porter being two who have had a lot of buzz on this of late, but based on the season, we felt that players who haven’t made their decision as of the time we publish are going to be in limbo if they make that class change.
